Family

My husband Andrew and I met on a homeschool cruise in 2002 when I was 13 and he was 16, but nothing came of that encounter. Fast Forward to another cruise in 2003 when I was 14 and he was 17, and we finally began getting to know each other and started dating a month later. In June 2011, after being together for 7 years and 5 months, we were married. Our 5 kiddos quickly followed. Nathan in July 2012, twin girls Alexis & Juliet in November 2013, Aaron in July 2015, and our final addition, Kristen, in 2020.

Pre-Photography

In College, I was studying to be a nurse, but God had other plans as our 4 kiddos came very quickly after marriage. My husband and I were both in college full time, working full time, and raising 4 kids full time, so I finally conceded to the fact that a career for myself would have to wait. In all honesty, I wanted to be a wife and mother, to stay home with and homeschool my kids, allowing me to be a part of their daily lives-which I thankfully have been able to do over the years.

Passion

Ever since I can remember, I have loved pictures, photo albums, and most especially the stories and memories that went with them. I purchased my first digital point and shoot camera at the age of 13 and fell in love with photography. I was always the girl behind the camera taking all my friend's and family's pictures, printing off pictures for photo albums, and making scrapbooks. Photography was a passion that I wanted to pursue, but was not able to fulfill until now.

Life

Our life is crazy and chaotic 24/7, but is also full of Christ, family, friends, fun, love, and everything I know God has meant for myself, my husband, and our kiddos.

I am looking forward to this added adventure of being a photographer and cannot wait to capture your moments that will last for a lifetime!
